Barretts March Sale Features 183 2-Year-Olds

The 2006 Barretts March Selected Sale of 2-Year-Olds, featuring 183 juveniles, will be held March 14. The sale catalog is available on-line.

Last year's March Sale, with 202 catalogued, has already produced at least 11 stakes winners, headed by graded stakes winners Brother Derek (gr. I), Wild Fit (gr. I), Dance Daily (gr. II), Henny Hughes (gr. II), What A Song (gr. II) and Unification (gr. III). Four of the top ten rated 2-year-olds in the nation on The Jockey Club's 2005 Experimental Free Handicap (at 118 pounds or higher) were graduates of last year's sale.

The training previews for the sale are scheduled for March 6 and March 12 on the Fairplex Park racetrack located directly next to Barretts beginning each day at 10 a.m. PST. DVD and videotape replays of the first preview will be able on-line as well as from the Barretts Sales office for interested bidders.
