Graded winner Newfoundland's first crop includes a colt born Jan. 28 at Ann Britt's Mare Gate Farm near Finchville, Ky. The colt is out of the winning Williamstown mare Marvel, whose dam is a half-sister to the stakes-winning dam of graded winner Silverfoot.Newfoundland (Storm Cat--Clear Mandate, by Deputy Minister) stands in 2006 for $7,500 at Fred Seitz' Brookdale Farm near Versailles, Ky.
