The first foal by champion sprinter
Speightstown is a colt born Jan. 28 at Windfields Farm near Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. Owned by Eugene Melnyk's Melnyk Racing Stables, the colt is out of the stakes-placed Hennessy mare Chase Gap.
Winner of the 2004 Breeders' Cup Sprint (gr. I) his championship season, Speightstown (
