The first reported foal by grade II winner
Soto was born Jan. 24 at Fred and Nancy Mitchell's Clarkland Farm near Lexington. Produced from the Conquistador Cielo mare Sky Meadows, the newborn colt is a half-brother to millionaire Dixie Cot Com and the stakes-placed dam of grade I winner Siphonic.
Soto (Dehere--Subtle Fragrance, by
Crafty Prospector) stands in 2006 for $7,500 at Jeffry Morris' Highclere Farm near Lexington.
