Millionaire Johar's First Foal Born at Stonestreet

The first foal sired by millionaire Johar   is a colt born Jan. 10 at Jess Jackson's Stonestreet Farm near Lexington. The newborn colt is the second foal from the Danzig mare Alinechka, whose dam is champion sprinter Safely Kept.

Johar, who finished in a dead heat for first in the 2003 John Deere Breeders' Cup Turf (gr. IT), is by Gone West out of the Lear Fan mare Windsharp. Johar stands at Mill Ridge Farm near Lexington and his 2006 fee is $20,000. Mill Ridge is owned by Alice Chandler and her husband, Dr. John Chandler.
