Stakes winner Indian Country will enter stud at Tom Capehart and F. Jack Liebau's Valley Creek Farm near Valley Center, Calif., for a fee of $2,500.
Indian Country, who won three of his four starts his first season of racing, captured the Pirate's Bounty Handicap at Del Mar and placed in three stakes. They included the 2005 Ancient Title Breeders' Cup Stakes (gr. I) at Santa Anita in which he was beaten a half-length while third. A son of
Indian Charlie, Indian Country retired with five wins and five placings from 11 starts and earnings of $219,837.
