Bowman's Band's First Foal at Shamrock Farm

Bowman's Band's first foal is a chestnut filly out of the Thirty Eight Paces mare Mrs. Bellerby foaled at Shamrock Farm in Maryland and owned by farm manager Jim Steele. The filly was born on Jan. 20.
Bowman's Band, by Dixieland Band out of Hometown Queen, by Pleasant Colony, stood his first season at Maryland Stallion Station in 2005, following a multiple graded stakes-winning race career in which he earned $1,315,774.
Bowman's Band, who stands for $6,000 live foal, is the leading money winner by the sire Dixieland Band, a son of Northern Dancer.
