Edited press release
Horse Power, the newly formed private Thoroughbred management group, has announced its advisors in the financial, legal, management, breeding and racing fields, who will guide participants through the entire process of owning a Thoroughbred racing franchise.

Horse Power's current advisors include:

--Donna Brothers, who will assist in selection of trainers for each horse and oversee and monitor their progress. A top color analyst for NBC during the Triple Crown and Breeders' Cup events, she retired from race riding as the second leading female money-winning jockey in United States history.

--Dennis Lynch, who will select, evaluate and buy the horses. Over the past three decades, Lynch has evaluated more than 150,000 horses for conformation and racing ability.

--John Prather, who will analyze all the pedigrees and help in the selection process, as well as advise those owners who wish to delve into breeding. Prather works closely with some of the top farms in the world and was responsible for arranging the mating that produced Kentucky Derby winner Funny Cide.

--Laura D'Angelo, attorney, who will provide advice on Racing Stable creation, LLC creation and racing registration. She practices in the areas of business transactional law, particularly as it applies to equine law, commercial lending, gaming and pari-mutuel law. A member of the American Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association and Fayette County Bar Association, she is admitted in Kentucky.

--Bud Watson, CPA, who will advise and assist members on their business plan, operating costs, tax issues, winning projections, objectives, location and asset selection. Watson is a partner in Dean, Dorton & Ford, the preeminent accounting firm on equine tax issues.

--Sebastian Kaupert, who will help each group design and produce racing silks. A design teacher at Pratt Institute in New York City, Kaupert is regarded as a premier brand expert.
