The first foal by grade II winner Seattle Fitz arrived Jan. 18 at Doug Arnold's Buck Pond Farm near Versailles, Ky., where the stallion stands. Bred by Arnold, the newborn filly is out of the winning Copelan mare Copewiththefuture, who is a half-sister to grade II winner Whata Brainstorm and a full sister to the dam of grade II winner Ruler's Court.

Seattle Fitz (Fitzcarraldo--Hug a Slew, by Seattle Slew) will stand in 2006 for $8,500.
