Grade I-Placed Serazzo to Momac in Texas

Serazzo, a grade I-placed son of Kris S., has been retired from racing to stand at Momac Farms near Decatur, Texas.
Ten-year-old Serazzo won or placed in 19 of 38 races and earned $304,748. He was a winner at Saratoga, Keeneland, Gulfstream Park, and Aqueduct before being switched to steeplechase racing. He ran second in the two grade I steeplechase events and also was runner-up in a grade II jumping event at Saratoga.
Produced from the Ups mare La Chaposa, Serazzo is a full brother to grade I winner You and I, who stands at stud in Washington, and a half-brother to grade I winner Chaposa Springs. He is owned by Jeanne Ann Stasny's Blossom Racing Stable and his fee is $2,500 live foal
