Candy Ride's First Foal Born at Idle Hour

The first foal by undefeated champion and grade I winner Candy Ride was born Jan. 14 at David E. Hager II's Idle Hour Farm near Paris, Ky. Owned by the farm, the filly is the second foal out of the winning Robin des Pins mare Robinera, whose dam is multiple stakes winner Satin Ribera.

Candy Ride (Ride the Rails--Candy Girl, by Candy Stripes) was an Argentine champion and winner of the Pacific Classic Stakes (gr. I). He stands at John Sikura's Hill 'n' Dale Farms near Lexington. His 2006 fee is $12,500.
