Pleasantly Perfect's First Foal Is a Colt

The first foal by millionaire Pleasantly Perfect   is a colt born Jan. 10 at Arthur I. Appleton's Bridlewood Farm near Ocala, Fla.

Bred by Appleton and Happy Alter, the colt is the first foal from the winning Saint Ballado mare St Ballado's Image, who is a half-sister to graded stakes winner and Bridlewood stallion Halo's Image and to the dam of stakes winner Shot of Gold. St Ballado's Image is booked to Tiznow  .

Pleasantly Perfect (Pleasant Colony--Regal State, by Affirmed) won the 2003 Breeders' Cup Classic – Powered by Dodge (gr. I). He stands at William S. Farish's Lane's End Farm near Versailles, Ky. His 2006 fee of $40,000 is the same as his 2005 fee.
