Grade I Winner Congaree's First Foals

The first two foals by five-time grade I winner
Congaree were born in Central Kentucky Jan. 9.
A bay colt was foaled at Billy and Allison Murphy's Ballinswood Farm near Paris. He is out of the Saint Ballado mare Saintly Music. The mare and foal are owned by Moonlighting Thoroughbreds.
A bay filly was born at James Eigel's Rosemont Farm near Lexington. She is out of the
Kingmambo mare Palau, and both she and the foal are owned by Rosemont.
Eight-year-old Congaree (Arazi--Mari's Sheba, by Mari's Book) won 10 graded stakes and earned $3,267,490. He stands at Frank Stronach's Adena Springs Kentucky near Midway. His 2006 fee is $15,000.
