Graded Winner Union Place to Silver Duck in Ontario

Graded stakes winner Union Place will enter stud at Silver Duck Stable near King City, Ontario, Canada, for a fee of $3,500 in Canadian funds.
A winner all five years he raced, Union Place won the 2002 Calder Derby (gr. IIIT) and last year's Ft. Lauderdale Stakes on grass at Gulfstream Park. All three of his stakes-placings came efforts in New York. Union Place ran second in the Jamaica (gr. IIT), National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame (gr. IIT), and Fort Marcy (gr. IIIT) Handicaps.

Out of Place--Charming Kain, by Lomond) finished first or second in 14 of 35 races and earned $426,830. His second dam is a half-sister to Canadian stakes winner Ballerina Queen.
