Ballado's Devil, an 8-year-old stakes-winning son of Saint Ballado, will enter stud at Briarcliff Farm near Berea, Ky. A nine-time winner, Ballado's Devil will stand for $3,000 on behalf of a partnership.
Ballado's Devil captured consecutive races as a 2-year-old and his three-race win streak as a 4-year-old included a score in the Forty One Carats Handicap at Calder Race Course. Twice stakes-placed, he retired with 23 wins or placings from 37 starts and earnings of $239,907.
Ballado's Devil is out of the winning Polish Navy mare Seashore Miss. His second dam is a full sister to the graded stakes-winning dam of a successful sire
Boundary.
