Carey Miller's unbeaten Great Seneca lived up to top billing as he pounded out an impressive victory in the $75,000 Dancing Count Stakes for 3-year-olds at Laurel Park.

On the lead throughout, Horacio Karamanos, riding Great Seneca for the first time, took command along the rail with a half-mile to go and won by 5 3/4 lengths, covering the 5-1/2 furlong distance in 1:05.25 . Ah Day loomed a threat straightening out for home before finishing second and The Village Vicar finished third. The winner paid $4 as the even-money favorite.

Gary Capuano trains the Allen's Prospect gelding, now three-for-three in his brief career.
