Midway Road to Lane's End Texas

Midway Road, a multiple graded stakes winner at Keeneland and runner-up in the Preakness Stakes (gr. I), will stand at William S. Farish's Lane's End Texas near Hempstead, Texas, instead of at Lane's End Farm near Versailles, Ky., as originally announced.

A 5-year-old son of Jade Hunter, Midway Road won seven of 17 races and earned $695,060. He set a track record of 1:46.78 for 1 1/8 miles in winning the 2004 Ben Ali Stakes (gr. III) at Keeneland and also won the Fayette Stakes (gr. III) at that track the same year.

Midway Road is a half-brother to three stakes winners and is out of the stakes-winning Magesterial mare Fleet Road. A fee will be announced later.
