For the second consecutive day, chilly temperatures have caused a freezing of the racing surface at Portland Meadows Sunday. Racing officials at the Delta Park oval determined it unsafe for racing and canceled the live card.

With an impending ice storm brewing and expected to head into the Portland, Ore., area overnight, a decision on Monday's racing will be made on Monday morning, the track said.

Saturday's canceled Oregon Championship Day will be held on Dec. 31.
