Graded Winner True Direction to Lou-Roe in Florida

True Direction, a graded stakes winner who recorded a 116 Beyer Speed Figure, will enter stud at Louis Gurino's Lou-Roe Farm near Morriston, Fla. His fee is $3,000.

True Direction registered his 116 Beyer in winning an allowance race in 1:07.86 for six furlongs at Belmont Park after setting a five-furlong fraction of :55.17. In the Fall Highweight Handicap (gr. III) under high weight of 134 pounds, he scored in 1:09.62.

A 6-year-old son of French Deputy, True Direction captured eight of 19 races and earned $348,570. He also won the Hirsch Jacobs Stakes and placed in three stakes, including the Riva Ridge Breeders' Cup Stakes (gr. II).

True Direction is out of the Tank's Prospect mare Ms Paragon, a half-sister to stakes winner Encolure. Second dam is a graded stakes-winning half-sister to successful sire Big Spruce.
