Wilkins Joins Stonewall as Stallion Director

Ken Wilkins has been hired by Audrey Haisfield's Stonewall Farm as director of stallion operations. Wilkins will oversee season sales, as well as private transactions at the recently-completed stallion complex and office in Versailles, Ky.

Wilkins most recently spent five years at Dr. Tom Simon's Vinery near Lexington, in a similar position. Overall, he has 14 years of hands-on experience as broodmare manager of Trackside Farm and stallion manager at Marguax Stud. Wilkins served last year as president of the Kentucky Thoroughbred Farm Manager's Club.

Stonewall currently stands six stallions: 2005 Eclipse Award contender Leroidesanimaux, Medaglia d'Oro, Value Plus, Unforgettable Max, Marquetry, and Doneraile Court.
