Subordination, a millionaire and two-time grade I turf winner, has been purchased by Juan Marmorek's Uruguayan Stud Montana Ranch for stallion duty in Uruguay. The 11-year-old son of Mt. Livermore left Gainesway Farm (Antony Beck, president) near Lexington this fall.

Subordination sired five stakes winners from four crops of racing age. His runners have earned $4.7 million.

Produced from the Desert Wine mare Not So Careless, Subordination won 11 of 21 races and earned $1,221,068. His eight stakes wins included scores in the Hollywood Derby (gr. IT) and Eddie Read Handicap (gr. IT).
