Millionaire Volponi has been purchased by the Korean Racing Association and will be relocated to the Jeju Stud and Training Farm.

The son of Cryptoclearance stood two seasons at Hopewell Farm in Midway, Ky., for a $10,000 fee.

Narvick International handled the sale of Volponi, who sired 24 foals in his first crop.

"We're sorry to see Volponi leave, but sometimes it's in the syndicate's best interest to accept a significant offer," Hopewell owner Rick Trontz said.

Volponi won seven of his 31 starts and earned $3,187,232. Volponi won the Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I), Pegasus Handicap (gr. II), Pilgrim Stakes (gr. III), and the Poker Handicap (gr. III).
