Arabian Star First Winner for Madraar

California stallion Madraar was represented by his first winner when his son Arabian Star won Dec. 9 at Woodbine. Bred by Dr. and Mrs. A.C. Asbury, Arabian Star ran the six furlongs in 1:11.72 to win for owners Doug Lindskog, Hugh Mckinnon, Eric Richer, and David Rowbotham.
A half-brother to international champion Fantastic Light, Madraar (Mr. Prospector--Jood, by Nijinsky II) stands at Gary and Marlene Howard's Hideaway Farms near San Jacinto, Calif. His 2006 fee is $3,500.
