The track will be maintened continuously through the day and night as racing is expected to return on Friday with first post at 1:10 PM.

Turfway Park in northern Kentucky cancelled after a winter storm warning was issued for the area. The simulcast facility will remain open as scheduled. Live racing is expected to resume Friday.

According to the Weather Channel's weather.com, the strom that dumped snow amounts in northeast Kansas and western Missouri in the 4-to-10 inch range is headed for the Ohio Valley including Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio.

Cities such as Cape Girardeau, Carbondale, Evansville, Louisville, and Cincinnati will have to deal with hazardous road conditions this afternoon and evening, according to weather.com.
