Fastness, Flying Pidgeon to C & R in New Jersey

Fastness and Flying Pidgeon, both millionaires and grade I winners, will stand in 2006 at Carlo DeThomasi's C & R Horse Farm near Milmay, N.J. Each will stand for $3,000.

Fastness, who ran second in the 1995 Breeders' Cup Mile (gr. IT), has sired eight runners that have won or placed in stakes. They include Canadian champion and multiple 2005 added-money winner Le Cinquieme Essai. Fifteen-year-old Fastness (Rousillon--City Fortress, by Troy) is represented by the career earners of $3.7 million. He formerly stood at Godstone Farm in Pennsylvania.

Flying Pidgeon has sired 11 runners that have won or placed and the earners of $4.3 million. A 24-year-old son of Upper Case out of the Minnesota Mac mare Miss Minnesota, Flying Pidgeon last stood at Maui Meadow Farm in Pennsylvania.
