Rakti, who will enter the stallion ranks in 2006 at Huma Park Stud in Ireland, will shuttle to Chatswood Stud in Australia for the Southern Hemisphere season. The 6-year-old son of Polish Precedent is scheduled to make his farewell start in the group I Hong Kong Mile Dec. 11.
Gary Tanaka bought Rakti after the horse won the 2002 Derby Italiano (It-I). For Tanaka, Rakti later won four English group I events, including this year's Juddmonte Lockinge Stakes, and another Italian group I stakes. He raced twice in Hong Kong, with his best effort being a second in the 2003 group I Hong Kong Cup.
Rakti, who was produced from the Rainbow Quest mare Ragera, has won 11 of 25 races and earned $2,915,923.
