Gin Talking, who won three consecutive stakes at Laurel last year, was named 2000 Horse of the Year and champion 3-year-old filly by the Maryland Horse Breeders Association. Other Maryland champion are Global Gait, 2-year-old male; Your Out, 2-year-old filly; Disco Rico, 3-year-old male; Testing, older male; Hookedonthefeelin, older female; A Little Luck, turf runner; Ironfist, steeplechaser.
