Grade II winner Ruler's Court, the joint high-weight on the 2003 Experimental Free Handicap for males, has been retired from racing and will enter stud at Dr. Tom Simon's Vinery Stud near Summerfield, Fla.

As a 2-year-old for Sheikh Mohammed's Darley Stable, Ruler's Court won the Norfolk Stakes (gr. II) at 1 1/16 miles by 14 lengths in stakes-record time of 1:41.27 at Santa Anita and placed in the Hollywood Juvenile Championship Stakes (gr. III). He shared top weight of 126 pounds on the Experimental with champion Action This Day and Cuvee.

Ruler's Court, a $400,000 Ocala Breeders' Sales Co. 2-year-old, did not run at three because of an injury. At four this year, he won at Belmont Park in September.

Bred in Kentucky by Douglas Arnold and Dr. Roy Sadovsky, Ruler's Court (Doneraile Court--Future Guest, by Copelan) retired with three wins from eight starts and earnings of $235,900 in North America and Dubai. He will stand as the property of Darley for a fee of $5,000.
