Tizbud, a full brother to leading first-crop sire
Tiznow , will stand in 2006 at John C. Harris' Harris Farms near Coalinga, Calif. Owned by Pam Ziebarth, he will stand for $3,000.
Tizbud, a 6-year-old son of
Cee's Tizzy, won the 2003 California Cup Classic Handicap and placed in that year's San Fernando Breeders' Cup Stakes (gr. II). He not only is a full brother to Tiznow, a Horse of the Year and the only horse to win the Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I) twice, but also to grade II winners Budroyale and Tizdubai.
"We are delighted to get this stallion back to our farm, where he was raised," Harris said. "He showed great promise as a racehorse and is from a proven sire line."
Tizbud, who was produced from the Seattle Song mare Cee's Song, formerly stood at Jubilee Farm in Florida.
