William S. Farish's Secret Status will make her first appearance since winning the Kentucky Oaks (gr. I) when the 3-year-old filly heads the seven-horse field in Saturday's Mother Goose Stakes (gr. I). Ridden by Pat Day, Secret Status overcame a troubled start to roll by 6 3/4 lengths in the 14-horse Oaks field. Day will again be aboard the A. P. Indy filly in the 1 1/8-mile Mother Goose. With each carrying 121 pounds, the Mother Goose field, in post position order, is:
--C'Est L'Amour, Edgar Prado
--Finder's Fee, John Velazquez
--Secret Status, 7-5
--March Magic, Richard Migliore
--Heaven's Above, Jorge Chavez
--Jostle, Mike Smith
--Cat Cay, Jerry Bailey
