Millionaire Freefourinternet to Signature Stallions

Freefourinternet, a millionaire and multiple graded stakes winner, will enter stud at William Schettine's Signature Stallions near Ocala, Fla. The 7-year-old son of Tabasco Cat will stand for $4,000.

Freefourinternet won or placed in 10 North American stakes for Equirace.com and was a two-time stakes winner in England. His graded wins came in the 2004 Hawthorne Gold Cup Handicap (gr. II) over Perfect Drift at 1 1/4 miles and the 2003 Kelso Breeders' Cup Handicap (gr. IIT) at a mile at Belmont Park. Although he finished sixth in the 2003 NetJets Breeders' Cup Mile (gr. IT), the Storm Cat grandson was beaten only 3 1/4 lengths.

Freefourinternet, who placed in the Firecracker Breeders' Cup (gr. IIT) and Explosive Bid (gr. IIT) Handicaps, retired with eight wins from 44 races and earnings of $1,106,136. Inbred 4 x 3 to Northern Dancer, Freefourinternet is out of the Dixieland Band mare Dixie Chimes, who is a full sister to two stakes winners, including grade II winner Chimes Band. Equirace.com, owned by Ron Peltz, will retain a majority interest in Freefourinternet.
