Stars On Horizon in Hollywood Prevue

Six untried juveniles with designs on next month's Hollywood Futurity (gr. I), will attempt to bolster their reputations on Saturday in Hollywood Park's $100,000 Hollywood Prevue (gr. III) at seven furlongs.

None of the young runners has won a race other than a maiden event.

Favoritism may be accorded Bengal Lore, who is coming off a nose loss to Within Reason in Oak Tree's Sunny Slope Stakes last month after finishing second in the $115,000 Barretts Juvenile at Fairplex Park. Garrett Gomez, who won both of the Hollywood Park autumn meet's stakes races on opening weekend, will ride the Kentucky-bred son of Tale of the Cat   for trainer Ted West Jr. and Desperado Stables.

Old Thunder, sired by 2000 Kentucky Derby (gr. I) champion Fusaichi Pegasus  , broke his maiden by eight lengths for trainer Ron McAnally at the Oak Tree meet last month after running fifth behind eventual Breeders' Cup Juvenile (gr. I) winner Stevie Wonderboy in the Del Mar Futurity (gr. II).

Da Stoops, who broke his maiden by 8 ΒΌ lengths at Del Mar in August, will attempt to provide trainer Bob Baffert with his third stakes victory of the meet after his opening weekend sweep.

The Pharaoh ran second to Stevie Wonderboy in the Del Mar Futurity.

Your Tent of Mine was an impressive maiden winner in his only start for Neil Drysdale.

The Five J's shows a win and two seconds among his six starts.
