Kitten's Joy to Stand for $25,000 at Ramsey Farm

Kitten's Joy, the reigning champion grass male, will enter stud for a fee of $25,000 at Ken and Sarah Ramsey's Ramsey Farm near Nicholasville, Ky. The 4-year-old son of El Prado out of Kitten's First (by Lear Fan) retired with nine wins from 14 starts and earnings of $2 million.

Ramsey Farm also will stand Badge of Silver for $12,500 and Catienus   for $10,000. A grade II winner this year, Badge of Silver (Silver Deputy--Silveroo, by Silver Hawk) will run next in the Nov. 26 Cigar Mile Handicap (gr. I) at Aqueduct.

Catienus, who previously stood in New York State, is represented this year by five stakes winners, including grade I-winning 2-year-old Dawn of War. Eleven-year-old Catienus is by Storm Cat out of the Mr. Prospector mare Diamond City.
