Western Pride, Irish Road, The Name's Jimmy to Signature

Millionaire Western Pride, along with Irish Road and The Name's Jimmy, will stand in 2006 at William Schettine's Signature Stallions near Ocala, Fla. All three are owned by partnerships.
At Santa Anita, Western Pride beat
Orientate in winning the San Fernando Breeders' Cup Stakes (gr. II), captured the San Bernardino Handicap (gr. III), and ran second in the Santa Anita Handicap (gr. I). The 7-year-old son of Way West also won the Ohio (gr. II), Calder (gr. III), and West Virginia Derbys, setting a track record in the last-named race. In the Pimlico Special Handicap (gr. I), he ran second to
Mineshaft .
Western Pride, who was produced from the Proud Birdie mare Strongerthanpride, retired with 10 wins from 32 starts and earnings of $1,289,929 while racing in North America, Dubai, and Singapore. His fee is $2,500.
Irish Road, a 5-year-old son of
Unbridled's Song , broke his maiden by 10 1/2 lengths at Belmont Park and won two consecutive allowance races at Saratoga. He closed out his career with two consecutive scores this year at Calder Race Course and retired with five wins from nine starts and earnings of $128,910.
Irish Road is out of multiple stakes winner Twin Propeller (by Known Fact), a half-sister to four stakes winners, including grade II winner Penny's Reshoot. His fee is $1,500.
The Name's Jimmy, a grade II winner, has sired four stakes winners, all of which have earned $200,000-plus, and five stakes-placed winners. A 16-year-old son of Encino out of the Grey Dawn II mare Dancing At Dawn, The Name's Jimmy has sired the earners of $4 million. His fee is $1,000.
