Frank Stronach's Adena Springs Farm has formulated two breeders incentive programs for the 2006 season.Special consideration will be given to owners of qualified graded stakes mares seeking seasons in new stallions Ghostzapper and North Light. Additionally, a 20% reduction in the advertised stud fee will apply to 10 of the Adena Springs stallions until their individual books are 75% full. Four of the stallions stand at Adena Springs Kentucky near Midway--Gold Case, Golden Missile, Olmodavor, and Touch Gold--and six stand at Adena Springs South near Williston, Fla.–Indy King, Macho Uno, Milwaukee Brew, Red Bullet, Running Stag, and Sligo Bay. Stallion books will be limited to 120 mares."You have to adapt and be receptive to an evolving market," said Adena Springs general manager Dr. George D. Mundy. "The strength of our program has long been forged by our stallion roster. Offering these incentives is our response to the mare owners, who are our partners, in essence, in making our stallions."
