Kentucky-based Taylor Made Sales Agency has improved on its world record for gross generated by a consignor during a single public auction. Through Sunday, the seventh day of Keeneland's November breeding stock sale in Lexington, Taylor Made had sold 198 horses for $61,964,00. The previous mark of $60,997,400 was established by Taylor Made during this year's Keeneland September yearling sale.
Taylor Made's consignment at the Keeneland November auction, which ends Friday, included Ashado, who sold for $9 million, a world record price for a broodmare or broodmare prospect sold at public auction.
