Knee Injury Forces Solis to Miss Extra Week

Jockey Alex Solis, sidelined since suffering a knee injury in a spill at Santa Anita last Friday, is scheduled to return to action at Hollywood Park on Nov. 16, agent Scotty McClellan reported Wednesday.

"He had a bad bruise and had fluid drained from the knee," said McClellan. "He had it done in Del Mar by Tom Harris, a knee and shoulder expert. He told him to give it some rest for the week."
