Union Place to Silver Duck Stable

Union Place, a graded stakes winning son of Out of Place, has been retired and will stand at owner William Sorokolit Sr.'s Silver Duck Stable in King City, Ontario, Canada. His fee will be $3,500 (Canadian funds; about $3,000 U.S.).

Union Place, out of the Lomond mare Charming Kain, won the 2002 Calder Derby (gr. II) and this year took the Ft. Lauderdale Stakes. In all, he won six of 35 starts from two to six and earned $426,830.
