One Nice Cat, a stakes winning son of Storm Cat out of champion Jewel Princess, has been retired and will stand in 2006 at Becky Thomas' Sequel Stallions near Orange Lake, Fla.

His fee will be $3,500.

He will stand as the property of a partnership including trainer Allen Iwinski, Larry Paltrowitz, and Adam Wachtel, who owned him at the end of his career.

The 5-year-old horse won four of 28 starts including this year's Polynesian Stakes in August. In his final start, he ran fifth in the Kentucky Cup Classic (gr. II). His career earnings were $163,089.

One Nice Cat was bred in Kentucky by The Thoroughbred Corp of the late Ahmed Salman, which raced Jewel Princess (by Key to the Mint).
