Stakes winner Unforgettable Max, a full brother to dual classic winner Afleet Alex, will retire to Stonewall Farm in Versailles, Ky. He will stand for $7,500 live foal.
"Unforgettable Max is a very solid-looking individual," said stallion manager Bert Welker, "I think that breeders will be taken with him when they see him. He was a very determined racehorse and consistently held his own against some of the best horses in training."
A winner of both starts at age two, Unforgettable Max won five of 23 career starts and earned $384,079. The son of
Northern Afleet won the Shecky Greene Stakes at Delaware Park, finished second in the General George Handicap (gr. II), Salvator Mile (gr. III), Discovery Handicap (gr. III), and Jim McKay Breeders' Cup Handicap, and third in the Tom Fool Handicap (gr. II) victory of Ghostzapper.
Breeders are being offered the opportunity to participate in the same incentive plan as Stonewall stallions
Doneraile Court and
Marquetry.
