Footstepsinthesand, who was retired in June unbeaten in three starts, will stand at stud in 2006 at Coolmore's Ashford Stud near Versailles, Ky. The fee for the son of Giant's Causeway  , who won this year's Ultimatepoker.com Two Thousand Guineas (Eng-I), will be $30,000.

He is currently standing the Southern Hemisphere season at Coolmore Australia for $27,500 (about $20,750).

Trained by Aidan O'Brien for Michael Tabor and Susan Magnier, Foostepsinthestand won both his starts at two, taking the Lillavullan Stakes (Ire-III) just eight days after breaking his maiden. In his only race this year, he won the classic Guineas by 1 1/4 lengths from Rebel Rebel and Kandidate.

The colt was unable to start following the Guineas because of a foot bruise.

Bred in England by Hascombe and Valiant Studs, Foostepsinthesand is out of the Rainbow Quest mare Glatisant, a group III winner who is out of group II winner Dancing Rocks, by Green Dancer.
