Gone West's Fee Reduced to $125,000

Gone West, a prominent sire for years at Mill Ridge Farm near Lexington, will have his fee dropped to $125,000 from $150,000. The 21-year-old son of Mr. Prospector has sired 81 stakes winners, including fellow Mill Ridge stallion Johar  .

Mill Ridge, owned by Alice Chandler and her husband, Dr. John Chandler, also announced a fee of $10,000 for newcomer Midas Eyes. A son of Touch Gold, Midas Eyes was a grade I Saratoga winner.
