Hennessy's Fee Boosted to $60,000

Ashford Stud, located near Versailles, Ky., has raised the fee for
Hennessy to $60,000 from $35,000. The 12-year-old son of
Storm Cat ranks second on the sires of 2-year-olds list behind fellow Ashford stallion
Giant's Causeway .
Ashford also dropped the fees of 10-year-old
Grand Slam (by
Gone West) and 11-year-old
Tale of the Cat (by Storm Cat) to $50,000. Grand Slam stood in 2005 for $85,000, and Tale of the Cat's fee was $65,000.
Ashford will announce later the fees for Giant's Causeway and
Fusaichi Pegasus , both of whom stood for six figures in 2005.
