Scott Lake Registers 3,000th Career Win

Trainer Scott A. Lake won his 3,000th race Saturday when he saddled Unaccounted Gift for a two-length victory in the seventh race at Philadelphia Park.
Lake, 40, ranks second among North American trainers in wins this season with 348 victories through Saturday. He ranks eighth on the 2005 earnings list with $7,649,367.
He began training in 1991 and currently has a stable of more than 150 horses.
