Keeneland Association will implement a comprehensive online package, which will enhance its current auction program and expand the auction options available to the industry. The new system will launch with an online entry process for this year's November breeding stock sale. The announcement was made today to inform consignors of this new option. Sale entries close Aug. 1. The new optional online entry system can be accessed at Keeneland's home page on the internet—keeneland.com—starting in mid-July. The existing system still will be available to consignors. The next addition will be an online Reserve Not Attained sale to be held in conjunction with the September yearling sale and it's currently intended that this option will be included as an extra benefit to consignors. In addition to the online RNA sale, the new interactive auction system will also feature: -- the capability for the online sale of yearlings, broodmares, foals, horses in training, stallion shares, and seasons; -- the well-respected Keeneland administration features such as credit checks, authorization of agents and settlement of accounts, as well as new security enhancements unique to the online environment; -- updated catalog information availability.
