Indian Ridge's Fee to Remain 75,000 Euros

The Irish National Stud, located in County Kildare, will keep the fee for major sire Indian Ridge at 75,000 euros (about $90,000). The 20-year-old son of Ahonoora is represented this year by nine stakes winners, including Pattison Canadian International Stakes (Can-IT) winner Relaxed Gesture.Alamshar, an English and Irish champion, will stand his first European season in 2006 at the Irish National Stud. Formerly in Japan, Alamshar won the 2003 King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes (Eng-I) and the Budweiser Irish Derby (Ire-I) and ran third in the Vodafone Epsom Derby (Eng-I). The Irish-bred 5-year-old son of Key of Luck out of the Shahrastani mare Alaiyda earned $2,046,874.
