Meadowlands Cancels Tuesday's Program

Edited from press release--Officials at Meadowlands in East Rutherford, N.J., announced that live racing has been canceled for the afternoon of Tuesday, Oct. 25.
Track officials cited a Nor'easter--bearing heavy rains, gusting winds, and causing unsafe racing conditions--as the reason for the cancellation.
Officials said the track will be open for day and night simulcasting. The next scheduled live racing program is Wednesday evening, with a first post time of 7:30 p.m.
The Meadowlands' 30-date meet, which began Sept. 30, runs through Nov. 12.
