Edited from Breeders' Cup notes
With trainer Tom Tomillo looking on, Lord of the Game put in his final major prep for the Breeders' Cup Classic – Powered by Dodge (gr. I) by working four furlongs in :46 Monday morning at Belmont Park.

The 4-year-old gelding, who may be precluded from running in the oversubscribed, worked after the renovation break with exercise rider Hugo Rodriguez up.

"He looked like he finished up real good," said Tomillo, who never has had a Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championship starter nor started a horse at Belmont Park. Eusebio Razo, who has ridden Lord of the Game in his past 10 starts, has the call Saturday.

Lord of the Game is first on the preference list and needs one defection to get into the field. If the of Saint Ballado does not get into the Classic, he will ship Wednesday to Keeneland to compete in the grade III Fayette Stakes, also on Saturday.
