Peaks and Valleys, a Canadian Horse of the Year and sire of popular millionaire Dollar Bill among his 22 stakes winners, will stand in 2006 at Gardiner Farms near Caledon East, Ontario, Canada. The 13-year-old son of Mt. Livermore will remain the property of Josephine Abercrombie's Pin Oak Stud.

Peaks and Valleys is represented by seven stakes winners this year, including Invitational, winner of the Oct. 8 Carotene Stakes on grass at Woodbine. His earlier Canadian stakes winners included grade II winner Higher World.

Dollar Bill, who earned $1,225,546, was a grade II winner who placed in five grade I stakes, including the Travers Stakes. Peaks and Valley's other graded winners include Chamrousse, who won the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes (gr. II) and ran second in the Mother Goose Stakes (gr. I).

Peaks and Valleys, whose big Canadian win came in the 1995 Molson Export Million Stakes (gr. I) the year he was Horse of the Year, won nine of 16 starts and earned $1,589,270 as a Pin Oak homebred. His runners have earned a career total of $17.4 million.

Peaks and Valleys, who stood for $10,000 in 2005, will have his fee announced later.
