Demand Strong at Tattersalls Yearling Sale Fillies dominated on the second day, gaining five of the top six successful bids. A Danehill filly fetched 575,000 guineas from Chevely Park Stud, who's managing director Chris Richardson did the bidding. Related to Dansili, Heat Haze, Banks Hill, Intercontinental and Leroidesanimaux,.she was consigned by Ryanair founder Dr. Tony Ryan through Eddie O'Leary's Lynn Lodge Stud. "The market for these well-bred fillies has been tough and I'm delighted to have bought her," Richardson remarked. "She is a lovely filly with a proper pedigree and there are not many more of these Danehills. She will go to Sir Michael Stoute (the Newmarket trainer)." A Sadler's Wells filly out of Canadian International (Can-I) and Sun Chariot Stakes (eng-I) winner Infamy, a full sister to Moon Queen and Rostropovich, and half-sister to Innuendoo and Barafamy, made 475,000 guineas. The winning bidder was Herve Barjot representing the Sean Mulryan-owned Pegasus Farms. He said: "She is most likely to race for a syndicate. You seldom get a chance to buy into a family like that and she has a fantastic attitude." The sale continues on Thursday and Friday.
